Southeast Texas native Virginia Carruth enjoys living and painting in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. After earning a degree in art education, she taught art at the high school level for a number of years. Now she devotes her time to painting full time and continues her education by attending workshops with leading artists in various media.
Virginia's work has been accepted in numerous local and national juried exhibitions and has won a number of awards. Her pastel landscape Autumn was featured in the "Best of Pastels" article of the November 2003 issue of The Artist's Magazine.
